 How Long?

“How long, ye simple ones, will ye love simplicity? And the scorners delight in their scorning, and fools hate knowledge? Turn you at my reproof: behold, I will pour out my spirit unto you, I will make known my words unto you.” Prov. 1:22+23

 Do you know…?

God has wonderful plan for your life? Far too long he have been expecting you to discover it in Christ, but it seems everyday you go further into the wilderness of life and deeper into the mire of sin. But God is saying, “For how long will this continue?” How long will you continue to serve Satan and to live like a beggar without hope and without a future? You may be rich with earthly treasures but do you know that as long as you are not rich towards God you are poor, naked and hopeless by the standard of heaven?

 For how long will you play church, for how long will you confide in religion or denomination and in man-made traditions rather than in Christ and His words? For how long will you love exhibitions and empty- shows, how long will you love the praises of men rather than a well-done from the King of Kings? For how long will you continue in your carnality and hypocrisy? For how long will continue to mock and scoff at the truth of the Scriptures, in fear of responsibility and duty? For how long will you be a lukewarm, earth-bound, ice-block Christian who is ever learning but never able to come to the knowledge of the truth, and though having the form of godliness deny the power thereof?

 Oh how long will you provoke God, and grieve the Holy Spirit by your way of life an still think you will make it to heaven? For how long will you be satisfied being just a water-baptized, Holy-Communion eating, Tithe-paying, Sunday-to-Sunday Christian? The Lord’s plan for your life is for you to mount into the higher realms of glory. Smith Wigglesworth once said to his people, “I want to bring you people to a place of dissatisfaction, a place where you will never be satisfied anymore, but only satisfied with an unsatisfiable satisfaction.” And I believe this is where God want you wants you to be today. Sinner man, for how long will you love wickedness, how long will you continue to rebel against the Master plans of God for your life?

 Listen, Wisdom is calling aloud in the streets, she raises her voice in the   public places in the chief place of concourse, in the openings of the gates saying, “How long, you simple ones will you go on being a fool saying there is no God? How long will you scoff at wisdom and fight the facts. Listen to the Lord and he will make you a new creation. Don’t reject the counsel and reproof of God, come out of your sins and accept Jesus the way to eternal life. As long as you turn down this invitation today, there is going to come someday when God will mock at you and laugh at your calamity. How long will you continue to think or suppose that you are saved? You can be sure now. The Bible says, “He that hath the Son hath life; and he that hath not the Son of God hath not life.” 1Jn.5:12. Invite Jesus Christ into your heart today and make Him the Lord of your life. Do not put it off any more, time is short, death is sure, but are you saved? You can do it now by praying with me:

 Lord I have wasted my life in sin, but I now want to surrender my heart to you. Jesus be the Lord of my life, come into my life and make me a new creation. Write my name in the lamb’s book of life. Thank you for the answered prayer in Jesus name Amen. MJG
